"A Son's Special Bond with His Father"
Dr. Terri welcomes her guest Eric Tomei, author of the book, "I Miss My Dad." When Eric's father died from a heart attack in 2006 at the age of 57, he decided to channel his feelings of love and loss toward helping others establish more loving bonds with their fathers. Eric hopes the book will help people recognize the fact that loved ones are not around forever. It's important to strengthen those relationships when you can. The book also was a way for the world to understand the consequences of heart disease, which is a nearly silent killer. According to the American Heart Association, heart disease has become America's number one killer claiming more than 2,500 lives each day.
